This hybrid position is located in Orlando and will require someone to spend time in our Tampa office as well. This is an exciting opportunity to work and grow within a dynamic team, across diverse disciplines, giving you exposure to a wide variety of projects within our People & Culture team.ResponsibilitiesServe as the onsite HR presence for the Southeast, acting as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees on people strategy, culture initiatives, workforce planning, and employee relations.Partner with managers and employees on employee relations (e.g., conflict resolution, performance management, ADA accommodations), escalating complex matters as needed.Partner with Southeast HR Lead on execution of regional People + Culture programs, including performance management cycles (e.g., Focal Point), engagement surveys and follow-ups, recognition initiatives, and retention initiatives.Partner with Talent Acquisition and leaders on recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning as appropriate; provide guidance on compensation planning and approvals.Manage and analyze HRIS data, metrics, and reports to identify trends, ensure data accuracy, and inform regional decision-making; collaborate with corporate groups to streamline processes and align with company-wide priorities.Coordinate immigration and foreign national sponsorships with managers, TA, and outside counsel; serve as a liaison to Benefits on leaves of absence and related employee needs.Champion a collaborative, inclusive culture by building trusted relationships, supporting employee engagement strategies, delivering trainings, and recommending process improvements that enhance the employee experience.Coordinates with assigned corporate group(s) on annual initiatives e.g. Focal Point, engagement survey results.Other duties may be assignedSkills and AttributesExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to think criticallyStrong computer skillsStrong teamwork and collaboration skillsStrong facilitation/public speaking skillsHighly motivated self-starterKnowledge of employment-related laws and regulationsKnowledge of and experience with varied HRIS systemsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareAbility to travel neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required5+ years of human resource experience, AEC industry preferredDemonstrates initiative and resourcefulnessDemonstrates ability to manage multiple priorities in a highly dynamic environment and to work with flexibility, efficiency, and diplomacy both individually and as part of a team effortGeneral knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulationsThe salary range for this position is $80,000-90,000.
