General Office Assistant Summary: The General Office Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. This role plays a key part in maintaining organization, assisting staff, and keeping day-to-day business functions running smoothly. Responsibilities: Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence in a professional manner Greet and assist visitors, clients, and team members Maintain and organize files, records, and documents (digital and paper) Assist with data entry, scheduling, and calendar management Prepare and distribute memos, letters, reports, and other documents as needed Order and maintain office supplies and equipment Support team with administrative projects and tasks as assigned Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment Provide general support to management and staff Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training or coursework is a plus Previous office or clerical experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar programs Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently Professional attitude and strong customer service skills Work Environment: Office setting; regular interaction with staff, clients, and vendors. May require occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs (such as office supplies or file boxes).
