Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payable processes, helping to maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal teams. Responsibilities: u2022 Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. u2022 Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts to verify transactions. u2022 Reconcile vendor statements and address any discrepancies in payments or invoices. u2022 Prepare and issue payments in a timely manner, adhering to established procedures. u2022 Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve any invoice or payment-related issues. u2022 Assist in month-end and year-end processes by generating reports and performing reconciliations. u2022 Maintain organized and accurate records to support audits and financial reporting. u2022 Utilize accounting software to efficiently manage payable processes and documentation. u2022 Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable procedures and implement solutions. This is a permanent opportunity that will pay up to $60,000 depending upon experience. Please apply to Jane Gearhart if interested Requirements u2022 At least 5 years of experience in accounts payable roles, including handling three-way matching processes. u2022 Proficiency in Excel with intermediate knowledge of formulas and spreadsheet manipulation. u2022 Familiarity with accounting software; prior experience with Great Plains or similar systems preferred. u2022 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial processes. u2022 Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies. u2022 Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations related to accounts payable. u2022 Experience supporting audits by providing relevant documentation and reconciliations. u2022 Flexibility to adapt to new systems or processes as needed.
