Job Description Insight Global is seeking s an Engineering Technician - Composite to sit onsite at an Aerospace client in Santa Clara, CA. This person will work closely with engineers and technicians to support the assembly, integration, and testing of structural systems for an eVTOL aircraft. They will play a key role in ensuring product quality, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Some day-to-day tasks include: working with secondary bonding/structurally fastened components, expressing understanding of various composite materials, resins, and fibers, utilization of advanced composite techniques in pre-peg and wet lay. (This role can pay $45-50 depending on years of experience). If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Skills and Requirements u25cf Minimum of 5+ years of experience in composite repair and fabrication, preferably in the aerospace industry. u25cf Associateu2019s degree or certification in a field of engineering technology (4+ years of experience can substitute for education requirements) u25cf Strong knowledge of composite materials, resins, and bonding agents used in aviation. u25cf Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering instructions, and FAA guidelines. u25cf Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across various teams. u25cf Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. u25cf A&P certification or equivalent experience. u25cf Experience in Computer-Aided Design software (CAD) such as SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Catia, Etc. u25cf Experience with model based definition. u25cf Experience with FAA aircraft certification requirements, including Part 23 certification. u25cf Advanced certifications in composite repair techniques or NDT methods. u25cf New product development experience in composite structures for aviation. u25cf Completion of advanced training in composite manufacturing and repair techniques.
