Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently preparing to hire for a Deli employee for a company located in the Lakewood Ranch/Sarasota area. Duties:- Slice and prepare deli meats, cheeses, salads, and other ready-to-eat items. They may also prepare sandwiches or hot food items for customers.- Ensure that the deli area is clean, well-organized, and meets food safety and hygiene standards.- Stay informed about the deli’s offerings, including different varieties of meats, cheeses, and other products, as well as any promotions or sales.- Assist with stocking shelves, maintaining stock levels, and rotating inventory to minimize waste.- Operating a cash register Requirements:- Prior Deli experience required. - Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.- Ability to operate deli equipment, including slicers and scales.- Basic math skills to handle pricing and transactions.- Weekends are required- Prior Deli experience is required.
