At Kimball Midwest, you are a name and not a number and we pride ourselves on our unique culture.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for reviewing and processing invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and adherence to company policiesInteracts with vendors to resolve discrepancies, answer inquiries, and maintain positive relationshipsPrepares and executes payments within established timelinesMaintains accurate records of transactions, invoices, and payment historyReconciles accounts payable transactions with general ledger accountsAdheres to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirementsIdentifies, and resolves issues related to invoices, payments, and vendor accountsPartners closely with other departments to ensure seamless Accounts Payable processesQualificationsA high school diploma: some college is preferredPrevious general business experienceWorking knowledge of bookkeeping principlesThe ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers supervisors, and managers; in written and verbal formThe ability to handle confidential information and use discretion while performing job tasksComputer literacy - specifically Microsoft OfficeThe ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations; and the ability to understand written and oral instructionsAn individual who is dependable (i.e. reports to work daily, barring any unforeseen circumstances)Additional InformationThis is a Monday-Friday role.
