This role isonsite in Chicago, IL.Summary: We're looking for a seasoned and strategic UX Writer toelevate the digital experience for our Airline client's workforce andassociates. You'll craft intuitive, engaging content for websites,apps, emails, and digital signage, ensuring every touchpoint aligns withuser needs and business goals.This role is ideal for someone who can lead strategically but alsoenjoys detail-oriented tasks like editing and proofreading. If you'reas happy building a messaging framework as you are fixing a danglingmodifier, you'll fit right in.About the Work:-Shape content from concept to final polish - messaging frameworks,microcopy, proofreading, and everything in between.-Write and optimize content across platforms including our intranet,websites, emails, mobile apps, and digital signage.-Lead and contribute to content strategy/design efforts such asinformation architecture, navigation, and naming systems.-Proofread and fact-check content to ensure accuracy, clarity, andadherence to brand and style guides.- Collaborate with designers, researchers, developers, and stakeholders,to deliver user-centered content.-Advocate for UX writing best practices, accessibility, and inclusivedesign.Required skills and qualifications:-5+ years of professional writing experience, including UX writing ordigital content design.-A portfolio showcasing compelling digital product content.-Strong content strategy skills - structure, hierarchy, naming, andsystems thinking.-Exceptional editing and proofreading abilities.-Comfort with both strategic and tactical work.-Ability to manage multiple projects independently.-Excellent communication and presentation skills.Preferred skills and qualifications:-Experience with intranets, enterprise content, or internalcommunications.-Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive writing practices.-Conversational content design experience.-Familiarity with content management systems like Sitecore andSharePoint.-Understanding of AP style and/or working with in-house editorialguidelines.-Degree in English, journalism, communications, or related field-orequivalent this position, you may have access to client or customer systems,confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
