The persons in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures.Shifts include: Willing to work 2 shifts (day, swing, graveyard) and have open availability for 6 days unscheduledHourly starting wage: $21.00/hr for filling into regular Security Officer, when filling in for Supervisor $24.00Prosegur offers a whole suite of benefit options. We offer competitive wages and exciting company resources.Responsibilities:Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premisesCirculate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect propertyFor Supervisor duties; Guide, Mentor, help with Scheduling; for a team of 40+ Guard, patrol, and monitor industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rulesEnforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistanceEscort on foot or by motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection or to escort persons off customer propertyWrite detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs)Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional mannerMonitor for irregular or unusual activitySecure facility and designated areasEnforce facility and company policies and proceduresInvestigate and prepare reports on incidentsQualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalentMust have a valid Security Guard License Must have one (2) year of experience as a security officer Must have 2-3 years of prior Supervisor Experience in Security industryMust have open availability to work all shifts and schedulesMust have reliable transportationMust have good communications skillsAbility to stand or walk for long periodsMust be able to walk/run flights of stairs on a daily basis.Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periodsMust be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior"Must be capable of working at different sites within the Inland Empire region EEO Statement: Prosegur is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity and inclusion at our company.
