OverviewThe 3rd Judicial District’s Court Administration has immediate openings for Court Reporters across the 3rd District. Multiple positions are available in Northwest Iowa. The pay range for this position depends on relevant courtroom experience as a certified Court or Verbatim Reporter (Voice Reporter). Plus, possible additional special pay allowances per advanced certification. These certifications are: RMR or RDR and CRR, for stenographic reporters. Voice reporter certifications are RVR and CM. If a reporter transitions or has transitioned from Federal employment to state employment, the FCRR certification can be accepted in lieu of the CRR certification. A copy of your certificate and renewals are required and additional validation necessary to continue any special pay allowance.Court & Verbatim Reporter positions are under the direction and supervision of the District Court Administrator or Assistant District Court Administrator, as the Chief Judge’s designees, and can be assigned to report on proceedings with any judge in any county in the 3rd Judicial District.Hours, Location, and How to ApplyHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00A - 4:30PLocation: TBDTo Apply: Candidates will need to submit a cover letter and resume.
