Graphic Designer/IllustratorNICABM is seeking a GRAPHIC DESIGNER and ILLUSTRATOR to join the team in our Storrs office. We’re looking for motivated people to support our design team with digital projects.Responsibilities: Create illustrations to be used in infographics, advertisements, and videosDesign/layout advertisements for social mediaFind photos and graphics to use on our website and in advertisementsEdit, retouch, and modify photos and graphics to be used on our website, in advertisements, and in videosParticipate in the brainstorming and creation of graphics mock-ups and illustrated video storyboardsLight editing of web pages via HTML and CSS coding Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field, or the equivalent professional experienceStrong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat ProStrong foundational knowledge of layout, color, typography, photography, icons, and internet mediaAwareness of the latest design and photography trends and an ability to adapt these trends into strategic designsAbility to keep projects on track and meet production deadlinesA positive attitude and flexibility for last-minute changesStrong work ethic and enthusiasm to learnSocial media marketing experience a huge plusAnimation experience a huge plusBasic knowledge and ability to code HTML and CSS
