Court Reporter - Business Specialty CourtThe Iowa Judicial Branch is seeking a qualified candidate for the Business Specialty Court Reporter position. Court Reporter positions are under the direction and supervision of the District Court Administrator as the Chief Judge’s designee. This position will be dedicated to the Iowa Business Specialty Court by the District Court Administrator for the Judicial District in which the Court Reporter resides.This position will perform Court Reporter duties for cases assigned to the Iowa Business Specialty Court statewide. When not engaged in duties for Business Specialty Court cases, this position will be assigned to provide remote court reporting services for district court cases in any judicial district and may also be assigned to provide in-person court reporting services for cases within their judicial district when demand for services requires additional court reporting resources. This position requires considerable overnight in-state travel.The starting salary for new State of Iowa Judicial employees is expected to be at the base of the pay range. The pay range for this position is $30.59 - $48.87 per hour or $2,447.20 - $3,909.60 bi-weekly. Adjustments may be made if the successful applicant has relevant experience.Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00A - 4:30P, with occasional deviations from the standard schedule, particularly for travel throughout Iowa.Location: This position may be domiciled in any Iowa county.To Apply: Candidates will need to submit a cover letter and resume.
