Job Title: Test EngineerJob DescriptionJoin a dynamic team to analyze customer requirements, develop test plans and procedures, and collaborate with field test engineers to install and test software on various vehicle platforms. You will play a critical role in adjusting testing processes and providing valuable insights to management.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze customer requirements to ensure clear understanding and accurate implementation.Develop detailed test plans and procedures based on customer requirements.Collaborate with field test engineers to install and test software on various vehicle platforms.Collect feedback from the test team on failures and potential modification needs.Make necessary testing adjustments and provide management with insightful recommendations for future actions.Essential SkillsProficiency in test procedure and test planning.Experience in requirements analysis and management.Ability to execute and evaluate tests, providing direction based on analysis.Proficiency in C++ programming.Experience with quality assurance processes.Familiarity with CAN tools, HIL, and Wireshark.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Computer Engineering.Familiarity with software development, specifically C++.Ability to explain the function of a pointer and basic OOP fundamentals.Experience with data collection using Wireshark is a plus.Work EnvironmentThe role involves a combination of office, home, and lab work environments, collaborating closely with internal software engineers, test engineers, and government customers. The position requires 15%-25% travel for testing activities, with a heavier workload during the summer and fall months.
