Accounts Receivable Clerk Transdev in Miami, FL is hiring an Account s Receivable Clerk. The Accounts Receivable Clerk assists the Accounting Manager in all aspects of the daily AR functions. Key Responsibilities: + Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures + Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivablesu2019 data + Assist with the preparation of client billings and the extensive related support documentation, including all exhibits + Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all invoices are posted and cash receipts are applied properly + Verify discrepancies by and resolve clientsu2019 billing issues + Facilitatepayment of invoices dueby sending bill reminders and contacting clients Qualifications : + Associateu2019s Degree in accounting plus 2-3 years of related experience + Excellent oral and written communication skills + Computer literate; proficient in Microsoft Office + Attention to detail + High level of accuracy and efficiency + Preferred experience with government constructions contracts Physical Requirements: The essential functions of this position require the ability to: u00b7 Sit for extended periods (up to 6u20138 hours per day) u00b7 Eventually walk on uneven surfaces during on-site audits u00b7 Occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files stored at ground level u00b7 Tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of noise Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
