Cape Royal Golf Club is excited to announce the exceptional job opportunity of Outside Services Attendant/Bag Drop Attendant. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the clubs managed by Troon. General Purpose:Serves guestsEssential Duties:♦ Maintain professional appearance♦ Starts players on the first tee explaining the rules of play for the day.♦ Maintains an accurate starting sheet so the whereabouts of players are known.♦ Cues groups to move to the first tee and makes sure not more than one group is on the tee at on time.♦ Tours the golf course assisting players when needed to maintain the posted pace of play for the day.♦ Checks the restrooms and water stations on a regular schedule.♦ Maintains proper spacing on the golf course to avoid delays.♦ Completes the golfer tracking report on a daily basis.♦ Reminds players of the cart rules of the day.♦ Repairs ball marks and collects any trash that may be on the course. Replaces any hazard stakes or directional signage.♦ Communicates with the Golf Shop and Starter on a regular basis.♦ Monitors the course and ensure customer satisfaction.♦ Assists golfers when needed.♦ Reports all problem situations to the Head Professional in a timely manner.♦ Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.♦ Performs other duties as required.♦ Provides information regarding the golf course, play time and other golf-related inquiries♦ Provides excellent customer service to arriving guests, expediting the check‐in process♦ Verifies all revenues have been properly recorded through receipt inspection before starting a game♦ Keeps golf shop personnel informed regarding pace of play based off of the first tee♦ Supplies guests with scorecards, pencils and other items as needed♦ Advises guests of course conditions and expected pace of play♦ Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management♦ Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager♦ Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.♦ Regular and reliable attendance.♦ Performs other duties as required.Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Must have a valid driver's license (if driving golf carts or range equipment) Must have a strong work ethic Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public Organized, able to work well in fast paced environment Must have strong customer/guest orientation Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills Must be dependable Knowledge about the game of golf preferredPreferred Requirements: 2+ years' Server experience preferred Proven exemplary customer service skills 2+ years' experience with a restaurant POS software platformPhysical Demands: While performing the required duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with arms and hands The employee often is required to walk, stand, talk or hear, handle, feel or operate objects The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30lbs occasionally The employee will occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception Moderate exposure to extreme cold, heat, working outdoors, mechanical hazards and electrical hazards Noise level is moderately quiet Work extended hours during golf and holiday season Work weekends and holidaysCertificates/Licenses: Must have a valid Drivers LicenseJob Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:♦ Possesses basic math skills.♦ Regular and reliable attendanceThis job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.
