Quality Control is responsible for ensuring the overall safety and security of vehicles. This position also offers bonus opportunities.Inspect vehicles prior to rental to ensure the overall safety and security of the vehicles.Check cars that are being moved into the ready garages for the following:Tire tread depthInsurance card in glove boxLicense platesCleanliness of vehicle inside, out, trunk, compartmentsFuel levelDash lightsNote body damagePerform all other related work as required by management.**A more in-depth description of day-to-day quality control operations can be found below:Rental Ready Line OrganizationMonitor all aspects of vehicle movement within the rental garage and to the rental ready lines Manage driver activity to rental ready lines and ensure vehicles are moved to the best location to maximize customer experience, space and traffic flowInspections Inspect vehicles for damage prior rental and ensure that proper check in process is followed Facilitate lost and found items with 3rd party or service agent teamMaintain current registration and ensure all expired license plates are grounded by working closely with staff to provide support on title registration, fleet maintenance, maintenance tracking on vehicles, turnbackrecording, duplicate key procedures, and other special projectsCommunication and Point of ContactAct as the go-between in communicating with the rental team as well as the production facilityAct as the point of contact for the driver team on a daily basis Provide administrative support for the Fleet Supervisor and assistance to Branch Managers, Assistant Managers, and Vehicle Repair where needed Act as a point of contact for Managers to get specific upgrade vehicles for customersEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/VeteransMust be at least 18 years oldHigh School Diploma or G.E.D. requiredMust have a minimum of 2 years of customer service or sales experience in retail, guest services, or administrative supportMust have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.Apart from religious observation, must be able to work the following shift/schedule:Must be able to work one of the following schedule:Sunday: 2:30pm - 11:00pmMonday: 1:00pm - 9:30pmTuesday: OFFWednesday: OFFThursday: 1:00pm - 9:30pmFriday: 1:00pm - 9:30pmSaturday: 1:00pm - 9:30pmThe starting pay rate for this position is $16.00/hour with a $2.00 shift differential for Saturday and Sunday (pays $16.00/hour Monday-Friday, and $18.00/hour on Saturday and Sunday).
