Job Description SUMMARY: The Global Physical Security (GPS) Systems Team is responsible for deploying, maintaining, and continuously enhancing Oracle's physical security technology landscape. Oracle seeks a highly skilled Technical Program Manager (TPM) for Video Management Systems (VMS) who will own the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise video systems, standards, and best practices for a complex and global security environment. Reporting to the Director, Physical Security Products & Services, you will lead the technical roadmap, policies, education, and integrations necessary for VMS excellence, partnering closely with security operations, integration partners, internal maintenance teams, and end-user groups. Responsibilities _Product & Program Ownership_ + Own the lifecycle management, standards, and feature evolution for all Video Management Systems (VMS), including integration with physical access control, alarm, AI/analytics, and related toolsets. + Develop and maintain VMS and video analytics product roadmaps, prioritizing enhancements that improve scalability, security, investigative capabilities, and regulatory compliance. + Serve as the central point for VMS product feedback, performance metrics, and continual improvement. _Stakeholder Training & Enablement_ + Design and deliver technical training, guidelines, and documentation for: + Third-party security integration companies (for hardware installation, software configuration, troubleshooting, and best practice commissioning). + Internal maintenance teams (for ongoing technical support, upgrades, system health, and escalation procedures). + Physical Security Operations Center end-users (for live monitoring, event response workflows, and investigative use cases). + Investigations teams (for data retrieval, video analytics interpretation, chain-of-custody, and secure export best practices). _Governance & Compliance_ + Develop, publish, and enforce VMS standards, policies, and procedures, aligned with corporate security, privacy, IT, and legal requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, industry best practices). + Lead VMS risk management and privacy reviews in partnership with Information Security, Legal, and Compliance, ensuring responsible data stewardship and defensible incident response. + Stay abreast of industry standards and relevant statutory/regulatory requirements affecting video surveillance, and drive updates into Oracleu2019s operating procedures. _Program & Project Management_ + Coordinate and manage VMS installation, upgrade, and enhancement initiatives across multiple global sites, ensuring consistent delivery and cross-team alignment. + Act as escalation point for critical incidents, post-incident root cause analysis, and technical strategy adjustments. + Partner with Global Physical Security, IT, cloud infrastructure, and data center design teams to ensure seamless VMS integration with evolving environments. _Cross-Functional Collaboration_ + Serve as the bridge between engineering, vendors, installers, security operations, and business leaders to ensure that VMS solutions are technically robust, user-friendly, cost-effective, and future-ready. + Maintain a vendor management strategy to evaluate and select VMS and analytics products, integrating with Oracleu2019s procurement and supply chain processes. _Innovation and Roadmap Development_ + Monitor advancements in video analytics, AI, data storage, and security technologies, piloting emerging solutions via GPS test labs to validate their fit in Oracleu2019s environment. + Provide subject matter input on technical due diligence for new vendor/product selections and drive proof-of-concept engagements where needed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES + Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Security, or relevant technical field (or equivalent experience). + 8+ years of technical program or product management experience in physical security, networking, or cloud infrastructure, with direct experience managing or deploying VMS solutions at scale. + In-depth knowledge of VMS platforms (preferably Milestone, Axis, Genetec, Lenel OnGuard or similar), video analytics, IP camera deployment, data protection, and chain-of-custody requirements. + Proven ability to document and communicate standards, create technical policies, and develop process improvement plans in a global enterprise context. + Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills; demonstrable success in delivering technical education and enablement across mixed-skill audiences. + Strong project management skills; ability to balance technical depth with strategic objectives and to drive multi-site, multi-team initiatives to successful outcomes. + Collaborative mindsetu2014success working with engineering, security, business stakeholders, external integrators, and cross-regional teams. + Expert knowledge of privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry standards. + Ability to balance technical, business, and regulatory considerations. + Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, etc.). + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES + Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CPP, PSP, VMS-specific certs like Lenel, Milestone, Axis). + Experience with physical security systems in hyperscale data center or cloud infrastructure environments. + Familiarity with specific the physical security hardware and software industry, especially enterprise-scale deployed applications across diverse environments. + Familiarity with privacy, audit, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001/NIST/PCI, etc.). + Hands-on experience with programming/scripting for integration, reporting, or automation purposes is a bonus. + Exposure to AI/ML video analytics, cloud-video platforms, and advanced data retention strategies. + Familiarity with assurance and compliance standards including Common Criteria & FIPS. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY, IMPACT OF DECISIONS AND DEGREE OF SUPERVISION: The qualified candidate will report directly to the Director of Physical Security Products and Services who is based in California, USA. This is a global role and periodic global travel will be required. As part of the product and services team this appointment will manage multiple contracted security systems staff within their scope of responsibility with the possibility of more growth. The individual will be expected to work with the minimum amount of supervision. The individual will maintain a high personal accountability and autonomy; expected to act as Oracleu2019s subject matter expert and principal driver for hardware device and VMS lifecycle management at a global scale. The individual will have the authority to recommend and implement standards, participate in vendor selections, process improvements, and future-state designs under Director oversight. As a key contributor to physical security technology direction, your work will directly impact investigations, compliance, risk reduction, and operational resilience The level of decision making is moderate to high as it affects the direction of physical security technology across the Corporation, influencing and collaborating with executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams so that initiatives are aligned and progress to a satisfactory conclusion. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $82,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
