Responsibilities: u2022 Draft and prepare motions, declarations, and conduct thorough legal research. u2022 Assist in preparing for hearings and trials, including developing litigation skills. u2022 Apply evidence codes effectively and manage trial preparation tasks such as vetting witnesses and organizing evidence timelines. u2022 Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to expand the firmu2019s caseload and maintain high-quality client service. u2022 Ensure ethical billing practices and contribute to a positive, detail-oriented work environment. u2022 Handle civil litigation tasks, including discovery and briefing as required. u2022 Maintain a commitment to achieving 40-50 billable hours per week. u2022 Participate in hybrid work arrangements, balancing in-office and remote responsibilities.r Requirements u2022 A minimum of 3+ years of experience in family law. u2022 Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to professionalism. u2022 Willingness to learn litigation and trial skills; prior trial experience is helpful but not mandatory. u2022 Active licensure with the CA State Bar. u2022 Proficiency in drafting motions, conducting discovery, and preparing legal briefs. u2022 Familiarity with civil litigation processes and procedures. u2022 Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid or remote environment.
