A client of ours in Wilsonville is looking to add a Computer Repair Technician to their team. This opportunity is perfect for self-starters and those who are looking to begin their career in computer repair and electronics. Location: Wilsonville Duties: Technical Responsibilities and Requirements: Hardware: Upgrade units for customized orders with extreme detail to cleanliness, care of product, and accuracy. Troubleshoot and diagnose desktop, laptop, and all-in-one computers, as well as other electronics. Self-starter who can use resources at hand to identify the solution to problems that arise with hardware and software. Experience with the following tasks with little or no instruction or supervision: Disassemble and inspect laptop computers. (Desktops are assumed knowledge) Identify upgrade options by looking at physical hardware. Verify components and partitions via command prompt. Re-assemble units in a like-new state. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: HS Diploma or GED required. 1-3 yrs. Computer hardware experience Follow instructions while working in a team or independent environment. Knowledge of basic mathematics is mandatory. Chinese Language is preferred but not mandatory. Self-starter, takes initiative Pay: $19.00/hr.
