Job Description We are looking for a Health Information Admin to support our client in creating and maintaining infrastructure for child fatality review teams and promoting prevention efforts. This position will be a full-time contract and remote with field travel. What Youu2019ll Do + Assist with the creation of an infrastructure and communication network for fatality review teams + Coordinate Child Fatality/Fetal-Infant Mortality meetings + Administer the electronic data collection system used by local CFR teams and the statewide CFR committee + Coordinate statewide CFR committee activities, meetings, data collection, and report assembly + Establish collaborative relationships and partnerships with public and non-profit agencies, as well as individuals within the community + Develop a regional training network to support local and regional initiatives aimed at strengthening fatality review and prevention efforts + Assist with data collection through local fatality review teams and other sources + Collaborate with team members and participate in statewide reviews + Gather and maintain records and provide routine reporting of program activities + Support and promote DFP initiatives and participate in professional development, team building, and self-care activities + Perform other duties as assigned What You'll Need Required: + Strong relational and people development skills, with the ability to identify, build, coordinate, and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders in both private and public sectors + Ability to assist in the creation, guidance, and maintenance of CFR infrastructure and provide technical support + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and trainings + Willingness to gain knowledge of state and local health agencies, health communication, and health education, and the ability to communicate complex public health theories and principles + Ability to evaluate and interpret data + Demonstrated ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner + Proven ability to collaborate with teams on joint projects + Ability to maintain confidentiality + Experience managing multiple ongoing projects while completing assignments in a timely manner + Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), experience with software for data analysis, and willingness to learn National database/Salesforce data entry Preferred: + Bacheloru2019s degree in Public Health, Social Work, or equivalent Physical Demands + Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards + Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. + Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor #dnp Reasonable accommodation statement If you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to or (888) 824 u2013 8111. $28 per hour The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
