Pay: $19.50/hourShift Options: 1st or 3rd shift Express Employment Professionals is seeking several Laboratory Technicians to join a dynamic team with a local company. Laboratory Technicians play a key role in advancing the research conducted by this company. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring lab technicians, lab assistants, or scientists with a passion for biology and hands-on lab work. Key Responsibilities Perform sample preparation, extraction, and quality analysis Operate and maintain lab instrumentation Accurately manage sample archives and document procedures in lab notebooks Follow established SOPs and laboratory procedures Support lab operations including supply ordering, equipment calibration, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment Assist in onboarding and training new teammates Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance lab efficiency Other duties as assigned Qualifications Associate’s degree in biology, science, or a related field required (Bachelor's Degree preferred) 1-2 years of laboratory technician experience required Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs Must be able to stand for the duration of each shift This role is ideal for individuals looking to grow in the field of science and laboratory research.
