Description Job PurposeThis role ensures efficient and effective evaluation and risk management of innovation and commercialization projects.This position works closely with the business units and cross functional teams to provide successful commercialization of new products, line extensions and product renovations. This position will support project trials, innovations, renovation and maintenance covering both internal and external manufacturing facilities.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesAttend project trials, first production runs and play a critical role in identifying risk areas.Complete cross functional risk assessments for projects and process.Support commercialization activities.Monitor, track and report corrective actions and timing of follow ups.Review food safety, quality and sanitation programs associated with project activities at production location.Communicate business risk to cross functional business partners.In this role, the individual will work closely with project teams to ensure compliance to KHC quality and food safety standards from Design stage through product launch/through post launch reviews.Expected Experience & Required SkillsQuality experience within food or CPG preferred 3-5 years Plant quality experience in one or multiple food factoriesRegulatory Compliance familiarity with USDA, FDA or CFIA preferred Commercialization experience preferredSanitation experience preferred Food Safety / Microbiology experience preferred Understanding of the procurement processes PCQI certified preferredBetter Process Control School certification preferred Fundamental statistics (DMAIC Process/DFSS/Lean/Metrology/MSA/Sampling Procedures) Project management and collaboration with cross functional partners experienceStrong interpersonal communication skillsWork Environment & ScheduleCandidate must be able to travel independently, have the ability to drive a vehicle, fly commercially and be located near a major airport.Travel required 40-55%.
