The Controller will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and contributing to strategic decision-making. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements and reports in accordance with regulatory standards. u2022 Manage accounting processes such as percentage-of-completion revenue recognition and standard costing procedures. u2022 Lead the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems, including Trimble Viewpoint Spectrum, Vista, and FileMaker Pro. u2022 Develop and mentor team members, fostering growth and building a collaborative work environment. u2022 Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, including US GAAP standards. u2022 Collaborate with various stakeholders including clients, employees, and management to support organizational goals. u2022 Analyze financial data to identify errors, implement solutions, and optimize processes. u2022 Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on financial analyses. u2022 Monitor and manage organizational budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives. u2022 Drive organizational planning and decision-making through strategic financial insights. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience, including 3-5 years in the construction industry. u2022 Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and US GAAP standards. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as accounting software like Trimble Viewpoint Spectrum and FileMaker Pro. u2022 Proven leadership abilities, including mentoring team members and influencing strategic direction. u2022 Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders and build collaborative relationships. u2022 Ability to analyze complex financial data and solve problems using critical thinking. u2022 Strong organizational and planning skills to manage priorities and drive work activities effectively. u2022 Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey financial insights and strategies clearly.
