The Highland Village location opened in 2007 and consistently ranks in the top 15 producers nationally. We service 3 primary business segments which include Design and Print Services, Pack and Ship Services, and Mail Services, as well as a variety of other ‘Retail’ services that are offered to our typical customers.Our target Design and Print customers include small to medium sized businesses, independent professionals and consumers requiring a variety of personal printed documents. This market segment represents about 40% of our portfolio.Our second segment, pack and ship services, utilized primarily by the of St. Paul (consumers) and a variety of other retail services which target both the business and consumer customers.Our third segment, Mail Services utilized primarily by small businesses and independent professionals has grown into a very important segment of our business over the past 2 years.More specifically, PostNet services include graphic design, printing, shipping, full-service packing, mailbox management,faxing, copying and business services with a focus on helping our business clients with their printed marketing needs. A growing segment of our business is Private Mail Boxes, both physical and virtual.The PostNet Highland Village Center is a high transaction environment averaging 100 transactions per day.Our goals each and every day is to provide all of our customers with the highest quality of product and service, with an emphasis on service. That is what separates us from our competition and we are rewarded by repeat business and referrals from our core customer base.Happy customers come back and tell their friends.The Center Manager is key to the delivery of our product, our service and the development of our relationships with our customersPosition OverviewThe Center Manager is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day store operations and staff activities, and ensuring the customers are provided with a high-quality service. Service is what sets us apart from our competitors.The Center Manager is also responsible for training, scheduling, and supervising staff. Must use independent decision-making skills to resolve customer issues and recommend product and process improvements.Are you personable, energetic, eager to learn, have good problem solving skills, and strong attention to detail? Great entry level management opportunity to grow business skills.QualificationsManagerial CapabilitiesA minimum of two years’ supervisory experienceA minimum of two years experience in Graphic Design and print disciplines.o Demonstrated experience in some or all of the following requirements of the position. -Trains, schedules, and supervises all center staff - Evaluates staff performance and gives feedback and correction, as warranted - Screens and recommends potential new staff members. - Monitors expenses and daily receipts. - Performs administrative duties, including inventory and supply control, and stocking - Continually reviews processes and procedures to ensure efficient center operation - Evaluates and recommends new products and services to the owner - Consistently demonstrates superior service and time management skills to staff - Will be responsible for hiring decisions and conducting performance evaluations -Proficient in the use of project management and project management systems.Customer ServicePrevious customer service or sales experience in both a design and print and a retail environment requiredExceptional customer service skillsAbility to translate customer requirements into final products and servicesAbility to handle customer issues and problems in an independent and professional mannerPrint / Design KnowledgeExperience working in a print environmentKnowledge of Adobe Creative SuiteOther SkillsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detailOutstanding time management and organizational skillsMultitasking - must have the ability to simultaneously process multiple tasksAssociate’s degree in a business field; bachelor’s degree .
