Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a dedicated Billing Analyst to join their team. As a Billing Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Billing Operations supporting large account management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a detail-oriented approach, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Billing Analyst Location: Columbus, OH Pay Range: $26.42 What's the Job? + Verify accuracy of billing data and review individual accounts to ensure timely and precise billing. + Serve as the primary contact for large account billing management, liaising with utilities, customers, and internal teams. + Identify billing discrepancies, determine root causes, and independently resolve issues to maintain data integrity. + Create manual invoices at a detailed customer level and review unbilled cycles for resolution. + Collaborate with IT to enhance system-driven automation and ensure compliance with SOX standards. What's Needed? + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related field. + Minimum of 3 years experience in billing, finance, or relevant business operations. + Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Access for data analysis and reporting. + Technical understanding of information systems and ability to interpret technical documents. + Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.
