Standard business hours apply, with occasional flexibility required to support events, including mornings, evenings and weekends as needed. Must maintain regular attendance and a professional presence.This role pays an hourly rate of $12.00-$13.00Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matchingThis position will remain open until December 31, 2025.The Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center is a spectacular facility providing excellent meeting accommodations. It features 317,000 gross sq. ft., including a 100,000 sq. ft. exhibit hall, and a unique design with terraces for outdoor functions and breathtaking views of the Mobile River.Performs custodial tasks including: sweeping, mopping, cleaning and scrubbing as well as exterior cleaning of terrace, steps, parking garage, sidewalks and plaza as assignedPrepares facilities for shows including setting chairs, stages, tables and counters as assignedCleans interior and exterior glassUses equipment as required upon completion of trainingCleans and prepares floors, carpets, restrooms and other areas as necessaryCleans and polishes furnitureDisposes of all waste, including bulk trash removal from hall and participates in recycling program as requireOther duties and responsibilities as assigned.Education & Experience:Experience in a service-related field preferredSkills & Competencies:Attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to follow oral and written instructionsPhysical ability to perform the duties required of this position including operation of cleaning equipmentLift, set and move equipment including all tables, chairs, easels, risers, staging and related items up to 50 poundsAbility to operate two-way radio equipmentAt OVG, we understand that to continue positively disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry, we need a diverse team to help us do it.
