Description We are looking for a highly skilled NY Barred Only Part-Time Commercial Real Estate Transactional Attorney with expertise in real estate finance to join our team on a contract basis. This part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex real estate finance transactions, representing borrowers in sophisticated legal matters. The position is based in New York, New York, and requires someone with a strong background in commercial real estate law and transactional expertise. Responsibilities: u2022 Draft, review, and negotiate comprehensive loan agreements and associated transactional documents. u2022 Provide legal advice to clients on intricate real estate finance matters, including foreclosure and non-residential property issues. u2022 Address and manage corporate and commercial legal matters as they arise during client engagements. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams and clients to facilitate seamless execution of complex transactions. u2022 Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations throughout all stages of transactional processes. Requirements u2022 Active membership with the New York Bar is mandatory. u2022 At least 5 years of experience in commercial real estate finance and transactional law. u2022 Proven ability to independently manage and close sophisticated deals. u2022 Strong knowledge of corporate law and general commercial transactions. u2022 Exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated ability to draft precise legal documents. u2022 Expertise in handling loan agreements and other transactional matters. u2022 Background in commercial litigation is a plus.
