Material Handler Adecco is now hiring for one of the largest technology companies, and this is your chance to work with them in Ventura County Responsibilities: u00b7 Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory in Oracle. u00b7 Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on move orders and pick slips, delivers, and completes appropriate transaction in Oracle. u00b7 Receives return material and supplies from production, verifies item number, lot number and quantity; places materials in stock and completes appropriate Oracle transactions. u00b7 Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, picking, packing, crating, loading, and securing product by following operating procedures and work instructions. u00b7 Maintains material-handling equipment such as scales by completing pre-use inspections. u00b7 Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. u00b7 Troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently, seeking advice where necessary. u00b7 Assist others to provide an organized and clean workplace including: all areas of the plant, workstations, equipment, walkways, and break rooms using 5S procedures. u00b7 Participation in and implementation of continuous improvement projects. u00b7 Safely and efficiently meeting all requirements assigned to you by following operating procedures and work instructions, in accordance with the companyu2019s ISO 9001:2015 procedures. u00b7 Other duties as assigned. See how we can help you learn the fundamental, leadership, and/or industry-specific skills you need to secure a better future: Requirements: u00b7 High School Diploma or GED required u00b7 1-3 years of experience as a Material Handler u00b7 Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred. u00b7 Possess strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well as a team. u00b7 Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, as well as comprehend verbal instructions and effectively communicate verbally. u00b7 Strong computer skills with data entry skills. Oracle software a plus u00b7 Ability to self-start yet take orders as directed. u00b7 Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Shifts Available: Shifts are available from Monday u2013 Friday, 5:30 am u2013 2:00 pm with some overtime.
