Express Employment Professionals has a great opportunity for a Cable Puller / Installer Job Location: Bloomfield Salary: $19+/hr Shift: 7-3:30 M-F Full time Summary The Cable Puller / Installer is responsible for assisting with the installation of low-voltage cabling systems including fiber optic, coaxial, and category cables. This role involves running, labeling, terminating, and testing cables in various environments such as new construction, office spaces, and industrial facilities. Responsibilities Pull, route, and secure cables through walls, ceilings, conduits, and cable trays Assist in the installation of racks, jacks, faceplates, and patch panels Terminate and test data and fiber optic cables Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments Work under the direction of the Lead Technician or Project Manager Follow company safety standards and project specifications Experience Experience in telecommunications, construction, or electrical work preferred (will train the right candidate) 2-3 years minimum of consistent work history Ability to read blueprints and cable layouts a plus Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required Strong work ethic and attention to detail
