OCONUS travel to Jordan is required (at least 3 months out of the year, likely closer to 6 months). You will use user-centered and agile methodologies to build and continuously deploy server and client-side solutions. As a member of the team, you will collaborate with project and product managers, user experience designers, and business analysts. Your efforts will directly serve and assist end-users. Your work will be produced in the context of the team's practices, including but not limited to continuous development, deployment, integration, and monitoring. Our solutions need to be 'cloud-first', scalable, and deployed in containers. Full stack engineers on this project are expected to have experience developing or integrating databases as well as developing and integrating server and client applications. This role is hybrid, with 2 days onsite/in office at Fort Bragg, NC.Job Duties Include (but not limited to): Write and deploy server-side applications in containerized environments on various networksParticipate in the full software development lifecycle including merge requests, code review, user stories, acceptance criteriaWrite clean, concise, and maintainable codeHelp define and enforce development best practicesParticipate in writing automated tests to verify the intent of storiesInvestigate data quality issues raised by users of the systemInvestigate errors in applications and perform root cause analysisResearch data sources for ways to expand the usefulness of the systemProvide application programming interfaces (APIs) and servicesContribute to hardening OS images, applications, and containers, performing security scans, and producing reports of the outcomesRequired Skills & Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Information Technology field focusing on AI/ML development projects using DevSecOpsExperience with full stack engineering, including at least 3 years of experience deploying production enterprise applicationsStrong problem-solving skills to work independently taking software projects from idea to deployment with minimal supervisionStrong experience with containerized environments and orchestration (Docker, Docker Compose)Strong programming skills in PythonProficiency with GitDatabase experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL, or MongoDBDue to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.Will travel OCONUS to Jordan (at least 3 months out of the year, likely closer to 6 months).Desired Skills:Experience in LinuxExperience working with CI/CD PipelinesExperience with ELK stackExperience with StreamlitExperience in reducing high/critical CVEs in containerized environmentsExperience in designing and integrating secure user authentication and role-based access control (RBAC) within full-stack applications.Experience working in defense or intelligence community is a plusExperience with database technologies such as PostgreSQLFull-stack problem-solving skills spanning backend APIs, frontend applications, data persistence, and infrastructure.Development Methodologies: Test Driven Development, Agile Software Delivery, Scrum, Continuous Integration/Continuous DeploymentEducation & Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with preference towards Computer Science and Software Engineering preferred.Security Clearance:An active TS/SCI security clearance is RequiredEqual Opportunity Employer / Individuals with Disabilities / Protected Veterans
