We are seeking a Hospital Maintenance Technician III , also referred to as a Engineer III, Plant Operations Technician or Boiler Operator. The Hospital Maintenance Tech III is responsible for advanced maintenance and repairs on hospital systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety equipment to ensure a safe and operational healthcare environment. This role also supports emergency response, preventive maintenance, and facility projects while coordinating with staff and contractors to minimize disruption to patient care.Shift’s Available: DaysEmployment Type: Full TimeHours: 8-hour shifts - 7:00am to 3:30pm Location: Southern Regional Medical Center - Riverdale, GAHere are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare:Health, dental, and vision insurance optionsPaid vacation, sick time and holidaysBereavement leave, FMLA and other leave optionsEmployer 401K optionsTuition reimbursement options Life, disability, and other insurance optionsMany other amazing benefits** If you are a BoilerOperator with high pressure steam license and/or 1st Class Stationary Engineer license you are encouraged to apply!Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, medical gas, and other systemsQuickly respond to emergency repair requests, such as system malfunctions or equipment breakdowns, to restore hospital operations without compromising patient careRegularly inspect and test critical hospital safety systems such as backup generators, fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and life safety equipment to ensure they are functional and compliant with safety standardsPreventative Maintenance, during regular inspections and checks to prevent breakdowns, like lubricating motors, testing generators, or checking emergency lightingAssist with hospital renovation and construction projects; coordinate work with contractors as neededBefore we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
