Located in Gwinnett County, GGC offers a modern campus environment and access to local amenities.Job SummaryThe Digital Humanities Lab is a new collaborative initiative between the School of Liberal Arts and Kaufman Library, providing space for teaching, learning, and research set to open on the second floor of Kaufman Library in January 2022. The lab will assist faculty and students with a wide range of Digital Humanities projects and research.ResponsibilitiesProvide data entry, creating records and content for the DH Lab website and the digital institutional repositoryAssist with creating, editing, documenting, and maintaining various digital humanities projects under development through the labScan materials for preservation and exhibitionPerform related work as required by interest and demandRequired QualificationsMust be currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Georgia Gwinnett CollegeMust have a high school diploma or G.E.D. requiredMust be in good academic standing and maintain good academic standing for the duration of employmentMust be in good conduct standing with Georgia Gwinnett College and maintain good conduct for the duration of employmentPossess excellent verbal and written communication skillsPossess strong organizational and time management skillsPossess basic knowledge of Windows environment, Microsoft Office, and Web browsersDemonstrated accuracy and attention to detailAbility to work productively with minimal supervisionPossess an interest in history, archives, or librariesEqual Employment OpportunityGeorgia Gwinnett College is an equal employment, equal access, and equal opportunity employer.
