This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see:role on the Copack Accounting team is primarily responsible for thecost accounting activities of 3rd party producers, with a focus oninventory accuracy, finished good costing, period end close reporting,and forecasting while maintaining an effective and efficient controlenvironment.Responsibilities Provides key variance analysis and explanations to management andIndustry Managers for multiple locations. Develop forecasts for manufacturing variances during period andannual budget updates. Responsible for creating bill of material standards, product costing,and overhead costs for annual operating plan and explain year over yearchanges. Work within SAP to reconcile production, usage, receipts, andshipments. Position manages the daily and period-end accounting process formultiple business units within the 3rd party Co-packers, Re-packers, andDistribution Center network. Period inventory reconciliations and annual physical inventoryobservation. Close working relationships with Contract Manufacturing Managers onresults, and trouble-shooting issues pertaining to co-packers. Control owner for periodic, quarterly, and annual SOX and Accountingcontrols. Additional duties include invoice processing, pallet reconciliations,and special pensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between$59,400 - $92,600. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and educationwill be considered in setting actual starting salary. Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel needed. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Strong self-starter and positive team player.
