Financial Reporting and Analyst/AVP: This full-time position is responsible for the budget and expense management of the US Region at a commercial bank. Detailed responsibilities include: Prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as required by the Head Office and communicate with the Head Office for financial results; Prepare and calculate the month-end closing JEs including FX quoting and squaring fee and Derivatives MTM, and quarterly closing JEs including asset allowance, equity revaluation, DCM Fee calculation; Process the accounting entries related to branch operating expenses, fixed asset register and related General Ledger information into the Financial Management System (GFMS); Input accounting entries for accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax expense accounts and month-end adjustment into FOVA system on a daily/monthly basis; Prepare the Branchu2019s financial forecast, reporting, and communicate with the management and the Head Office for financial results; Manage and lead the Branchu2019s rolling financial budgeting and forecasting, and provide business insights to assist the management for decision making; Oversee the budget allocation, expense management and financial performance evaluation of US Region entities; Prepare the US region financial analysis report and the regional performance analysis; Research and implement accounting rules applicable to the Branch under US GAAP and IFRS; Prepare the Branchu2019s annual audited financial statements, manage the audit process within the department, and address relevant inquiries from auditors; Participate in ad-hoc projects when delegated; Prepare ad-hoc reports requested by the Head Office. Require Master degree in Accounting with 6-month experience.
