The Instructional Designer works with subject matter experts (SMEs), Epic Principal Trainers, and others to analyze, develop, and design learning content which may include the following: + Courses + Interactive Simulations + Screen Capture Videos + Animated Videos + Job Aids Essential Functions of the Role u00b7 Devise creative solutions strategies that meet the business needs and solve business problems u00b7 Create, manage, and deliver engaging training across multiple mediums and multiple learning styles u00b7 Confirm course specifications and resolve gaps u00b7 Utilize authoring tools to build eLearning courses u00b7 Utilize technical and creative writing skills to engage course participants u00b7 Integrate adult learning best practices and thought leadership into eLearning courses u00b7 Produce eLearning courses on time and on budget and align those programs with an overall learning outcomes strategy u00b7 Address changes and feedback to course deliverables in a timely manner u00b7 Evaluate training outcomes based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) u00b7 Work with subject matter experts to research, write and edit training modules. u00b7 Master content from existing sources well enough to communicate it. u00b7 Develop learning deliverables in various engaging formats (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.). u00b7 Manage work to allocated effort and schedule. u00b7 Design training materials and assessments in adherence to brand standards u00b7 Test training materials to ensure their quality u00b7 Participate in and lead special projects as required u00b7 Contribute to thought leadership on instructional design best practices and implementation of blended learning, including identifying and implementing innovative technologies and approaches u00b7 Conduct learning assessments to determine the most effective learning activities and course designs that align with organizational goals, strategies, and competencies u00b7 Collaborate strategically with team members on cross-functional training approaches to best serve the clientu2019s needs u00b7 Respond to on-demand requests that focus on curriculum development, the use of technology, or communications skills Belonging Statement We believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported.
