Hiring Full-Time Accounting ClerkLocation: MariettaPay: $22.00/hourHours: 8am-5pm with an hour lunch break.The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for managing the financial processes of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, general ledger entries, and financial reporting. This role also supports general office administration and works closely with leadership to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Accounting & Financial ManagementOversee and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.Issue invoices, record payments, and follow up on past-due accounts.Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments.Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly.Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial data is accurate and up to date.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing procedures.Prepare and distribute financial reports to management.Coordinate with outside CPA or tax professionals as needed.Office AdministrationMaintain organized financial records and digital files.Coordinate payroll processing with external provider or internal system.Support purchasing and inventory tracking as needed.Assist in maintaining proper documentation for licenses, insurance, and certifications.Qualifications:Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software) and Microsoft Excel.Solid understanding of AR, AP, and general accounting principles.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High level of integrity and confidentiality.
