Janitor / Custodian - Day Shift (Full-Time) Location: Middleburg Heights, OH Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Pay: Starting at $14.00 per hour Type: Full-time | Temp-to-Hire About the Opportunity A local Middleburg Heights company is seeking dependable Janitors / Custodians to support their maintenance department. This position plays a key role in keeping facilities clean, organized, and safe for all employees. If you have a strong work ethic and enjoy hands-on cleaning work, this could be a great fit! Key Responsibilities Clean interior areas including floors, carpets, rugs, windows, and walls. Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as desks, door handles, and office tools. Maintain cleaning supplies and order inventory when needed. Maintain outdoor areas by cutting grass, trimming bushes, and removing debris or snow. Replace air filters and perform light HVAC maintenance as directed. Empty trash and recycling bins regularly. Restock and organize supply rooms. Perform minor repairs on tools and equipment. Vacuum, sweep, mop, and operate floor scrubbers and other janitorial equipment. Clean and sanitize restrooms, windows, and mirrors. Dust furniture, fixtures, and maintain a neat environment. Notify supervisors of unsafe or damaged conditions. Requirements Previous janitorial, custodial, or maintenance experience preferred (not required). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for most of the shift. Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Reliable and punctual attendance.
