Job Title: Controller About the RoleExpress Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Controller for a local manufacturer in Southern Oregon. The Controller leads the Finance function in all areas including cost accounting, general accounting, credit and collections, accounts payable, and Information Technology. This role is responsible for maximizing the return on assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. Oversight includes cost and general accounting, receivables/collection, payables, and the annual budgeting process. This position reports directly to the Business Manager and has a dotted line to the Finance Manager of TouchPoint Medical. The starting salary is $95K DOE. What You Will Be Doing Reporting and Control Ensure effective internal controls throughout the business, maintaining compliance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements. Drive the implementation and compliance with Global TouchPoint Group policies and processes in Credit Control and Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory Management, Reserves, Capital Expenditure, and General Ledger management. Support the TouchPoint Finance team in treasury, controlling, audit, tax, and statutory functions. Oversee accurate and timely monthly consolidated management reports; explain key cost and revenue drivers; and develop KPIs vs. prior year and budget. Manage inventory cycle counting and ERP system updates. Oversee monthly accounting and maintenance of books and records, including balance sheet reconciliations. Facilitate the preparation of forecasts, operating and capital budgets; monitor changes and analyze assumptions. Business Support and Analysis Partner with senior stakeholders to conduct detailed financial analysis supporting profitable growth and process improvement. Identify cost reduction and performance optimization opportunities across product pricing, material purchases, lead times, inventory, quality, and productivity. Drive working capital improvements through strong analysis and controls. Provide financial analysis to support sales and management in understanding and maximizing profit margins. Team Leadership Lead, coach, and motivate a team of finance professionals aligned with core company values. Collaborate as a key member of the Leadership team with sales, operations, and engineering. Educate and explain financial data to business leaders to ensure decisions are supported by strong analysis. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Lead ERP implementation change management initiatives by developing and executing adoption and process discipline strategies. CPA or equivalent credential required. 10+ years of experience in accounting/finance, including experience in manufacturing and leadership roles. Strong knowledge of Excel; working knowledge of SQL reporting. Proven ability to prepare detailed analysis to understand drivers of profitability. Skilled in explaining financial concepts to both finance and non-finance professionals. Experience working in an ERP-based environment.
