Quality Engineering TechnicianThis is an amazing opportunity for someone who is hands-on with a passion for quality and engineering to join an established and growing company The Quality Engineering Technician is a key role that helps ensure our parts are compliant and meet customer requirements, as well as improve our process to reduce defects.Job DutiesSupport quality systems including: Assessment of part conformance to customer drawing/spec requirements and MRB (dimensional acceptance) Support operators in inspection techniques on the shop floor. Help maintain and improve documentation including operating procedures and work instructions Review of inspection data to determine process capability, quality concerns, and corrective actions.Support engineering activities as needed including: Organize and track movement of engineering and FAI lots through the manufacturing process Help develop and complete process and inspection related improvement projects Assist in reviewing fixture calibration dataEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or GED Microsoft Office Suite knowledge required specifically Microsoft Excel Previous manufacturing/quality/engineering experience highly desired Experience in statistical control / Six Sigma preferred, but not required Desire to learn and grow within the company Excellent organization and attention to detail Good oral and written communication skills /generated inline style / All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. /generated inline style / This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
