Accounts Payable Clerk - Homosassa, FL Pay: $20+/hourSchedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PMInterview Location: Ocala, FL A well-established Ocala-based company is seeking a reliable and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to work onsite in Homosassa, FL. This full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work independently, and is eager to grow within a supportive team. Key Responsibilities Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate, timely payments Review and verify invoice accuracy, approvals, and account coding Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist with month-end closing Maintain organized files and records for all payables Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding items Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies Perform data entry and maintain financial databases Greet and assist visitors, clients, and vendors professionally Answer and direct incoming calls Manage mail, deliveries, and packages Order and restock office supplies Provide general administrative support across departments Qualifications 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and QuickBooks Experience with payroll processing and POS systems Experience with Concrete Go is a plus Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Knowledge of tax preparation and compliance is preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Must pass a drug test and background check Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Benefits Free Life Insurance 401(k) Match Plan Health, Dental & Vision Insurance 6 Paid Holidays Up to 120 hours/year of vacation pay Opportunity for expanded responsibilities based on performance Interested?
