Job Title: Medical Superbill Entry Specialist Location: McAllen, TX Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Superbill Entry Specialist to join our Orthopedic Center team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely entry of patient charges, diagnosis, and procedure codes. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and knowledge of medical billing practices. Key Responsibilities: Data Entry: Retrieve and enter patient charges, diagnosis codes (ICD-10), and procedure codes (CPT) according to dates of service. Information Verification: Review and verify that all charges match the superbill and that diagnosis codes align with services rendered; apply appropriate modifiers when necessary. Error Resolution: Identify, investigate, and correct data entry errors or discrepancies to prevent claim denials and processing delays. Communication: Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to clarify superbill details and resolve coding or data issues. Compliance: Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations to protect patient information. Qualifications: Experience in medical billing, coding, or data entry preferred.
