Description Warehouse Associate - Fontana, CAWhat You’ll Do: You’ll be a key player in our warehouse team, helping to move, manage, and deliver products efficiently and safely. Whether you’re loading trailers, picking orders, or leading associates, you’ll work in a fast-paced, multi-temperature environment, focused on accuracy, teamwork, and safety. Beyond offering logistics jobs, we build careers and fuel the future of foodservice distribution.​In This Role You’ll: All Associates:Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift)Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product qualityMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standardsUse warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventoryFollow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocolsLoader Specific:Load and unload trailers efficiently and safelySecure pallets for shipment and verify shipping documentationAssist dock operations including staging and organizing shipmentsSelector (Picker) Specific:Use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accuratelyConduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracyFollow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food productsWhat You’ll Bring: All Associates:Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environmentsStrong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safetyBasic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issuesExperience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferredLoader:Forklift certification and at least 6 months of safe operation experience preferredSelector (Picker) Specific:• Valid forklift certification and 6+ months of safe equipment operation• Strong reading/math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation• Use a voice-directed picking system (VoCollect headset) to accurately select and prepare customer ordersSchedule & Setting: Full-time, on-site in a temperature-controlled warehouse (dry, cooler freezer: -5 ?F to 38 ?F)Primarily a 4-day work week, with shifts typically starting between 4 AM and 5 PM; weekend and holiday availability requiredPhysically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50-lbs and standing/walking for extended periodsPay & Benefits: $24-$25/hour Weekly pay (every Friday)Health, dental, and vision benefits available after 30 days401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and moreCompany-provided uniforms and work shoesWhy Join Us: We’re not just in the business of distribution - we’re in the business of development.
