Job Description

Our client, a respected National Non-profit Association, is seeking a Senior Social Media Coordinator to help develop and maintain a successful social media presence, enhancing the organization's brand across various platforms, driving engagement, and fostering a strong online community. This role involves overseeing social media channels, identifying top influencers, creating content, analyzing performance, and reporting insights. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Manage social media calendar and drive social media strategy Create engaging, high-quality content (text, images, videos) tailored to different platforms and audiences Foster online communities through timely engagement with followers, responding to comments, queries, and messages Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance to inform and optimize strategies Use analytical tools to gauge social campaign success and prepare regular reports Collaborate with marketing, education, and other teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding Provide social media coverage of events and activities as required Stay up-to-date with latest social media trends, tools, and best practices Contribute to social media strategic and operations planning Provide guidance and training to internal teams on effective social media practices and tools Other duties as assigned by the Manager, Marketing Required skills and qualifications: Must be fluently bilingual (English and French) College diploma or certificate in marketing, social media management, public relations, journalism, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in social media management in a professional setting (not personal use), focusing on strategy execution, analytics, and reporting Not-for-profit experience and volunteer management a plus Expert-level knowledge of social media platforms, trends, analytics tools, and best practices Familiarity with social media advertising strategies and ad placements Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other design tools Excellent writing, communication, and project management skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines Strong team player with ability to work independently and collaboratively Benefits and Perks: Stable work environment with long-tenured staff and low turnover Hybrid - 4 WFH and 1 In-office Co
