Date posted: October 27, 2025 Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Job description: A leading designer and manufacturer fastening solutions is hiring for a Mechanical Assembly Technician for their clean, organized facility located in Shelby Township. Overview: The Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for ensuring that hydraulics, components, and sub-assemblies are assembled per blueprints, documentation, and customer specifications with a high level of workmanship. What You Will Do: Prepare work by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials Read blueprints and assemble products to specifications according work instructions Verify quality specifications by inspecting/measuring completed components Follow established quality procedures regarding workmanship and safety regulations. Ensure all required documentation is complete and correct. Other duties as assigned What You Bring: Required: High School diploma or GED required. 1-2 years of previous experience in mechanical assembly. Ability to read blueprints. Experience using basic hand and power tools, torque wrenches and measuring equipment. Basic computer skills and experience with MS Office Ability to read, write and perform basic math. Ability to work overtime as needed. Physical Demands Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand up to 8 hrs., walk and reach with hands and arms. Repetitive motions, frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and parts containers may be required. Hours: 6:00am - 3:30pm + overtime as required Pay: $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
