Description We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role involves managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices and be comfortable using QuickBooks and other accounting tools. Responsibilities: u2022 Handle accounts payable tasks, including processing invoices and ensuring timely payments to vendors. u2022 Support accounts receivable operations by posting customer payments in QuickBooks and creating invoices as needed. u2022 Collaborate with customers to follow up on outstanding payments and address any billing inquiries. u2022 Conduct month-end reviews to reconcile transactions, track payment statuses, and identify any missing or overdue payments. u2022 Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions comply with company policies. u2022 Assist in collections as necessary, ensuring clear and precise communication with customers. u2022 Generate and distribute invoices to customers based on agreed billing cycles. u2022 Review and monitor vendor invoices to ensure payments are processed correctly and on time. u2022 Provide backup support for other accounting tasks as required. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related roles. u2022 Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. u2022 Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and other accounting software. u2022 Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed financial records. u2022 Familiarity with invoice processing and reconciliation. u2022 Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and vendors. u2022 Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
