We offer competitive salary and a great benefit package in an exciting, rewarding industry.Dohrn is seeking a Full Time Office Assistant at our St. Louis, MO Terminal!Pay is $20.00/HourHours: Monday - Friday, 7:30AM - 4:00PMBenefits: Health/Vision/Dental insurance, 401k matching, life insurance, short/long term disability and more.POSITION SUMMARY:Review, organize and maintain onboarding, enter payroll & PTO, training, safety compliance and office administrative tasks.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Source and screen leads, schedule interviews for the terminal managerEnter payroll and PTO time for hourly workforceAdminister New Employee Orientation and complete the digital onboarding process for all local hiresCommunicate with both internal and external customers on a wide range of issues. These Include, but are not limited to, freight charges, pickups, tracing, and POD’s.Maintain databases for regulatory compliance, physical certificates, driver license identification, and random drug testingAble to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assignedSet up pre-employment testing appointments for new candidatesSend rejection letters to leads/applicants/candidates as neededEnter and maintain data in multiple databases and HRMS software systemAssist and actively participate in meetings as requiredAdminister multiple duties simultaneouslyMaintain confidentiality at all timesWork in a positive, supportive, and cooperative way at all timesPerform other duties as neededMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:High School completion or equivalentComputer skills including Microsoft OfficeData entry, 10-key and typing experienceDetail-oriented, organizedGood communication skills- verbal and writtenExcellent customer service skillsProblem solver, self-motivatedAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and react to change productivelyAbility to work in a team as well as individuallyExcellent attendanceWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Primarily sedentary work, which involves sitting most of the timeMay be occasionally required to exert up to 10 pounds of force and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objectsThe general office environment is favorable; Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are minimal hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc;Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitorManual dexterity is regularly required including fingering, grasping, and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingersTalking and hearing required to communicate with and listen to others to share or receive information; May be occasionally exposed to noise including telephone, office machinery, and conversations of othersDohrn Transfer Company, LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
