Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in New York, New York. This is an on-going contract position. The role involves working on-site Monday through Friday, providing critical support for billing data entry within the medical insurance field. Responsibilities: u2022 Accurately input billing information into the system for medical insurance purposes. u2022 Organize and maintain electronic and physical records to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. u2022 Perform calculations and verify data entries for accuracy and completeness. u2022 Communicate via email to resolve discrepancies in billing or data entry. u2022 Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to create, modify, and manage documents. u2022 Scan and digitize documents while ensuring proper categorization. u2022 Assist in organizing files and maintaining a structured filing system. u2022 Apply 10-key typing skills for efficient and accurate data entry. u2022 Collaborate with team members to address and resolve customer inquiries. u2022 Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Requirements u2022 Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry. u2022 Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes and systems. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. u2022 Familiarity with email correspondence and effective communication. u2022 Skilled in organizing files and managing record systems. u2022 Experience with 10-key typing and general typing skills. u2022 Capability to perform basic calculations efficiently. u2022 Willingness to work on-site Monday through Friday for the contract duration.
