Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of expense processing. This is a Contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your skills and grow within the organization. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and code invoices accurately to ensure timely payments. u2022 Utilize automated clearing house (ACH) systems for efficient transaction handling. u2022 Upload financial documents to DocuWare and export records as required. u2022 Address and resolve invoice discrepancies in coordination with vendors. u2022 Conduct vendor statement reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. u2022 Initiate and oversee check runs for regular payment cycles. u2022 Maintain strong relationships with vendors to support smooth operations. u2022 Perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure financial integrity. u2022 Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting tasks. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in Accounts Payable processes, including invoice coding and payments. u2022 Familiarity with automated clearing house (ACH) systems. u2022 Proficiency in using DocuWare or similar document management systems. u2022 Strong problem-solving skills to manage invoice discrepancies effectively. u2022 Ability to initiate and manage check runs with attention to detail. u2022 Experience in vendor relationship management. u2022 Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis. u2022 Strong organizational and time management abilities.
