Description: The Overnight Front Service Agent is directly responsible for the prompt, efficient, and courteous check in and check out of guests, assisting with room reservations and handling of telephone calls, and for meeting many other guest needs during their stay. u25cf Follow proper audit procedures to balance the hotel's daily revenue and expense transactions u25cf To welcome and register all arriving guests, making sure that all pertinent information is obtained u25cf Efficiently conduct check in and check out procedures u25cf Healthy communication with Housekeeping and Engineering departments and ensure that guest's expectations are met. All maintenance issues properly logged and followed up on u25cf Respond to all guestsu2019 requests or in a proper manner and ensure appropriate action is taken u25cf Meet requests regarding guest billing u25cf Handle cash transactions in accordance with the propertyu2019s cash handling policy u25cf Maintains current knowledge of hotel culture, amenities, and services, events in the area, points of interest, and services in the area u25cf Answer the telephone in a professional manner and assist guests with any questions, directions, etc. u25cf Manage and resolve all guest complaints and compliments in a professional and courteous manner u25cf Communicate with all departments regarding in house VIPs and any special requests/needs u25cf All other tasks and duties as assigned Qualifications: u25cf At least one year of experience as a Front Service Agent u25cf Have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. u25cf Display a positive and cheerful demeanor along with a caring personality u25cf Good problem solving ability u25cf Fluency in reading, writing and spoken English.
