Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesSummarThe individual is responsible for performing calibration and preventative maintenance (PM); Troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs on Process Analytics Sensors, Transmitters and TOC analyzers without assistance, within the respective Business Area. May be required to assist on installations, projects and/or repairs as necessary. This position will perform Setup and configuration and, Qualification of the products listed above; Perform calibration and preventative maintenance, startup commissioning of our more complex analyzers (Sodium, Silica, 7000RMS, 3000CS, etc).Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repairs industry related products without assistance.Resolves first-line customer concerns and helps resolve invoicing issues when applicable.Performs calibrations, preventative maintenance duties according to METTLER TOLEDO procedures and customer requirements.Perform startup commissioning, setup and configuration, Qualifications.Performs basic end user training.Performs calibrations and preventative maintenance duties according to METTLER TOLEDO procedures and customer requirements.Assists and cooperates with Scheduling Analyst and Service Support Team as necessary.Achieves assigned targets while controlling expenses.Ensures company vehicle is serviced and maintained according to fleet requirements and policies.Is proactive in promoting and selling service and products. Submitting sales leads at a level commensurate with experience is required.Maintains inventory levels as assigned by SBU and maintains appropriate accuracy and control over stocked items.Ensures compliance with all company and customer safety and quality policies and procedures.Works to ensure customer uptime requirements are met and that all work assignments are completed on time.Accurately completes and submits all required paperwork on a daily basis as required via company issued Laptop PC in a professional mannerMaintains a close professional relationship with external/internal customers, sales, technicians and other pletes Kronos time keeping on a daily basis and ensure punches are entered for each activity as they occur.Using Device Service Management (DSM), order all assignment request materials and record all related activities in a timely manner.Works to ensure an atmosphere of collaboration and teamwork with field and service support colleagues.All other duties as assigned.What You Need to SucceedTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listedbelow are representative of the knowledge, skill, competency, behavior and/or ability required. A valid driver's license is required.Education & ExperienceMinimum of a High School Diploma or GED with an aptitude in the areas of Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation,Technology or Computer Science or equivalent education and experience in a technical support role, technicaltroubleshooting or technical installation of electronics or electromechanical technology.Associate degree (AA) with a technical major or equivalent from a two-year College preferred, or related jobexperience, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to speak and present ideas to a large group.5-7 years' experience with advanced process analytics equipment or Mettler Toledo Specific Experience.Hands on mechanical experience in relevant field including electromechanical and/or pneumatic systems.Customer facing or field service puter RequirementsDemonstrate skill in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.Capable of learning proprietary software and be able to review and update information using METTLER TOLEDOprograms.
