This role provides strategic leadership in program development, facilitation, and financial oversight while supervising a student board of more than 20 members who organize the logistics, operations, participation, volunteer management, and community partnerships for four large-scale and 25 medium-scale events each year.Key responsibilities include managing all administrative and financial processes such as Workday transactions, budget tracking, and reconciliations. The role also involves overseeing program logistics, including space reservations, transportation, marketing, and communications, and ensuring effective risk management and assessment. This role also supervises 6-8 student interns for OSU Votes, the student cohort that does non-partisan voter education and engagement. Additionally, the Senior Coordinator designs and facilitates leadership curricula, trainings, and workshops that prepare over 100 student leaders and more than 1,500 participants annually for ethical service, leadership, and community engagement.The position is key to building and maintaining community partnerships, fostering strong relationships with numerous local nonprofits as well as key campus units such as Sorority and Fraternity Life, STEP, Honors and Scholars, and Alumni Relations. Additionally, the Senior Coordinator acts as an expert on voter registration and civic engagement policy, ensuring adherence to state and local guidelines while providing staff and student leaders with the necessary resources and training to actively involve students in the democratic process.This role oversees the recruitment, training, and advising of over 100 student leaders and more than 1,500 participants in local service programs, fostering ethical service, leadership, and community engagement.MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred. Explore our extensive benefits .
